Hudson Farmers Market

Hudson, NY

“The Valley is best known for tapping into its local farming and artisan community, so it’s no surprise that the Farmer’s Market is absolutely fantastic. I often head over first thing in the morning for some fresh flowers and food for the house. Everything is garden-fresh and the people are lovely.”

In the winter/early spring of 1997, Milt Meisner and Norman Posner sat around a table and put together a plan to create the Hudson Farmers Market. By summer of that year, the market opened in the 6th Street municipal parking lot with 5 vendors. Since that time the market has grown and been sustained even more by the community, the City of Hudson and Columbia County. This location now comes alive every Saturday from May until Thanksgiving with over 30 vendors, community booths, musicians, volunteers, and neighbors.
